My name is Sabrina, and I’m a single mother of four children, ages 7, 6, 5, and almost 2. Yesterday, after leaving a doctor’s appointment with my youngest, my car’s engine failed unexpectedly. I was on my way to pick up my other children from their aunt’s house, and now I’m left without a vehicle. This has made it extremely difficult to manage our daily lives, especially since I work third shift at Amazon, which is 15 miles from home. Reliable transportation is essential for me to get to work and provide for my family.

 My youngest daughter is almost 2 and has been struggling with her speech. Her pediatrician is concerned that she may fall behind in communication skills if she doesn’t continue with speech therapy. Without a car, getting her to these important appointments, as well as taking my other children to school, doctor visits, and the grocery store, has become nearly impossible. I’ve received some temporary help from friends and family, but it’s not a permanent solution, and I need to secure my own transportation as soon as possible.

I want to make sure my children’s needs are met and that I can continue working to support them.
