Help Sabrina and Ryan with Xander's Surgery!

Hello everyone, my name is Shannon and I am Sabrina's sister and Xander's aunt! Xander means the entire world to myself and our family, he truly is a miracle baby (this will be explained). Here is a little back story that will lead up to why Xander needs this surgery, so please continue reading!

My sister has PCOS and has had a very difficult time getting pregnant prior to giving birth to Xander. She was not able to get pregnant on her own, and had to go through several fertility treatments, getting shots, multiple blood tests done, etc. Because of having PCOS, she developed cysts on her ovaries which was a prime factor in the difficulty of getting pregnant. While being very painful on her body, it was also mentally painful too. All she wanted was to be pregnant.

After several more fertility treatments, doctor visits and shots later, we found out she was FINALLY pregnant! We PRAYED and PRAYED for this to happen. If my sister was to be anything, it was to be a mom. Throughout multiple ultra sounds visits, we noticed a small bump on his nose, not really thinking anything of it. Upon giving birth to Xander, the bump was still there and as he got older, it unfortunately wasn't going away. He is now a year and 3 months old, and it is still there. It started growing even bigger, leaving us clueless as to what it was. So, my sister and her husband took him to the doctor to get MRI's/CT scans done, and they were given news that no parent ever wanted to hear.

Xander has a cyst growing on the tip of his nose that has been spreading and rooting up into his brain. The specific type of cyst he has is called a Nasal Dermoid Cyst and requires a craniotomy (brain and skull surgery) along with nasal surgery on November 30th, 2021 to remove the roots and anything else that could be growing. This is classified as a very serious and highly intensive surgery that no baby or child should ever go through.

The expenses of this surgery will be astronomical and something that Sabrina and Ryan just can't afford out of pocket. Although they have insurance, it will only cover a very small percentage of the entire thing. So with the help of our closest friends and family, we hope that prayers and generous donations will financially ease their minds. Xander is a warrior, and he WILL get through this surgery but we need all of you to be there for him and his parents. Even if it's just a dollar, every amount is appreciated.
