Help Sabrina (24 yo) fight a rare form of cancer
Donation protected
Sabrina Marques is a vibrant and loving daughter, sister, and friend relying on your help for a chance at getting her life back from a devastating disease. In February of 2023, Sabrina's life as she knew was unexpectedly thrown into a frenzy of medical visits and invasive tests when she was hospitalized after a car accident for excessive bruising, and ended up being diagnosed with Ovarian Mucinous Carcinoma, a rare type of ovarian cancer. Despite going through a hysterectomy just one month after her initial diagnosis, her condition tragically worsened and has now also complicated her intestines with a malignant bowel obstruction.
Sabrina's passion has always been working with children, having worked as a teacher's assistant in Montessori Schools with the intent of attaining her teaching license. She had worked arduously to complete her Bachelors in Physiology and was working on her Masters Degree. She is a driven young woman, full of promise and heart, who needs our support on her health journey to one day allow her to live out her dream of teaching and helping students, a dream made all the more meaningful since her ability to have her own biological children has now been made surgically impossible.
Her parents both worked two jobs to provide for Sabrina and her two siblings. Her father recently had to let one of his jobs go so that he is able to travel with her for the medical treatments and consultations she needs. This fund would be used to help get Sabrina the medical care she needs at a hospital equipped to handle her rare cancer, ideally Sloans in New York or possibly Arizona, as the hospitals in her area have sadly stated there is nothing else that can be done for her there, and have declared her terminal if she does not seek treatment elsewhere.
We implore you to look into your heart for our dear Sabrina, and if you are at all able, please consider donating to her cause. She and her family would be eternally grateful, and appreciate you even taking the time to read this and getting to know a little bit about her story. Wishing you love and light, just as Sabrina would.
