As many of you may know, firefighters are more likely to be diagnosed with cancer than the average person. Unfortunately, this has been the case for Ryan. On medical leave, he has been traveling 2-3 times a week out of state to receive treatments. It has gotten to the point that sick leave, vacation time, and donated time from his agency have dried up.
