Help Ryan Get Hyperbaric!

We started hyperbaric oxygen treatment at HBOT of America down by NRG two months ago.  Basically, it is being encapsulated in 95% oxygen while under increased atmospheric pressure. This high pressure dose of oxygen helps your blood carry more oxygen to your organs and tissues. In this way, extra oxygen can reach all of the damaged tissues and the body can support its own healing process.  The increased oxygen greatly enhances the ability of white blood cells to kill bacteria, reduces swelling, and allows new blood vessels to grow more rapidly in the affected areas.(aka Ryan’s brain!)


Ryan has done about 30 treatments now... and it has been helping him tremendously.  He and I both can see the difference in his physical presentation and cognitive functions! I am actually very surprised how much this therapy has been helping him. He had to stop treatment for a week due to the cochlear implant surgery. As a result, his tremor is worse, he is not sleeping well at all, and I can tell a difference at the speed he communicates. I asked Ryan if he wanted me to try to get a chamber for the house.... he gave me a BIG thumbs up. Currently, we pay per session and go after therapy four days a week or whenever we can fit it in. The problem is they can be booked (they only have two chambers) or we can have appointments that conflict with oxygen therapy. To get the best results, Ryan should be doing 60-90 mins in the chamber daily.  That's just not possible right now financially or schedule wise.


My goal is to have a chamber in the house; then he can use it every single day. I will not have to pay per session anymore, and it will open up two hours of my day! I could spend more time at home with the children while Ryan receives therapy. This is all around a better situation for the WHOLE family.


Mostly, I would like Ryan to be able to benefit from this therapy daily.  This therapy will be needed most likely for years to come while his brain is rewiring itself.
