Help Ruger get his vision back❤️
We officially have a surgery date! March 18th is the big day we have all been waiting for❤️
My 3 year old fluff ball Ruger was in the early stages of juvenile cataracts in early November. Unfortunately for us, our vet said he is the poster child for juvenile cataracts, especially this young in age. Within 3-4 short weeks, he lost 100% of his vision. We have been in and out of the Animal eye clinic of Spokane, his eye specialist, running tests and tracking the progression of his blindness. Today, (1/11/2021) we had the big appointment we have been waiting for, the appointment that decides if he is a candidate for cataracts surgery. We have wonderful news! He’s an amazing candidate for this surgery. It has a 80-90% success rate, which is just music to my ears knowing my baby has the possibility to live out the rest of his years with his full vision back! The results did show very swollen and enlarged len’s. Meaning the sooner we can schedule the surgery, the better off we are. The surgery is estimated to be $3600-$4200. I know times are tough, and I will absolutely put in as much of my own funds as I possibly can. If anyone is willing or able to make a donation, or any amount, we will forever appreciate you for being apart of our journey. Much love, from Ruger and Paige❤️
