This is our sweet baby girl Ruby. She is 7 months old and just got diagnosed with CPV (Canine Parvovirus). She has become very ill, with diarrhea, vomiting, refusing food and water, and most recently had to have a feeding tube inserted to give her proper nutrients. If you don’t know what CPV is, it’s a very serious, sometimes fatal virus that attacks puppies' immune systems and intestines. She is fully vaccinated but still unfortunately caught this awful virus. Ruby is currently in the emergency room fighting her best to beat this.
We are fundraising money to help pay for a new medication that could save her life. CPMA (Canine Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody) is a very expensive injection, on top of the thousands it costs to have our sweet girl hospitalized day and night so she can fight this virus off. This treatment has been seen to be very effective in dogs that contract Parvo and could cut her recovery and hospitalization time in half!
We’re very hopeful for a good outcome, but if you have a furry friend of your own, you know how scary it is to see them in pain. We’re doing absolutely everything we can for our girl. If you have taken the time to read this, we greatly appreciate it and anything will help. We believe Ruby is very strong and can beat this!!
