<div>Hello. My name is Royale Heart and I live in Western North Carolina.

<div>My husband and I live in Burnsville- Egypt town North Carolina and our community has been devastated by hurricane helene. We live on bald mountain and very near cane river. Our bridge collapsed to our house. We have had flooding and are currently without power, internet or cell service. (My mother is doing this for me). We are helping our community with providing clean water, gas and food. However, it is an hour drive one way to get any where to get resources and supplies. We are fortunate that we have a vehicle that can get off the mountain and help get our neighbors needed things that they are unable to get to. However, we do not have an endless supply of resources. I am unable to work due to not having internet or power.

<div>Our community has been leveled and devastated by Helene and the flooding that has been stated to be a “once in a thousand years” flood. We have a lot of houses gone and people missing. We are working daily to do recovery efforts but none have turned out for the positive. Please help us
