Help Roy follow Paty’s legacy in each violin note

Roy is a talented violinist who deserves to be supported!
At a young age, Roy played the violin with the Esperanza Azteca Orchestra and the Children's Symphony Orchestra of Mexico. As a successful violinist, he collaborated with great artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Carlos Prieto, Samuel Zyman, Paquito D'Rivera, Valery Gergiev, and Erika Dobosiewicz. He has traveled the country and crossed borders, proudly representing Ciudad Juárez as the concertmaster in various events.
All these achievements would not have been possible without his enormous talent and without the support of his beautiful family. In particular, his parents: Gabriel Cardona and Paty Cabrera, believed in Roy's dream, and together they made the sacrifices to support him.
But life is unpredictable as we know too well when COVID-19 took Paty's life prematurely. Her loss has impacted the lives of so many, and her legacy will live on in the hundreds of people she inadvertently touched with her humbleness and human quality. Reading the many messages that have been dedicated to her, you know Paty loved two things: life and her family. She was passionate about her career, helping others and, above all, an exemplary mother. Every time she spoke of one of her three children, her eyes would light up with pride, and words fail to describe the love she had for them. Without a doubt, Paty was the kind of mom who did not miss a single recital and, along with Gabo, left no stones unturned so Roy could always go after his dream.
We are confident that from that better place, Paty wishes Roy to become the professional musician he is destined to be. That is why we want to support the Cardona Cabrera family with the expenses of Roy's freshman year at the Texas Tech School of Music in Lubbock, Texas. He was awarded a prestigious scholarship for being an excellent violinist; however, this scholarship does not cover all expenses. The remaining yearly cost of attending this college is $20K. That it's our goal.
We want to support the family to fulfill the dream of Gabo, Paty, Roy, and his brothers. He is starting his freshman year this fall semester, so we need to rise this money by the end of July.
Roy is a boy who reflects the essence of Paty: passion and humbleness. With his music, he will carry on his mother's legacy on every stage and in every note he plays.

¡Roy es un talento mexicano que merece ser apoyado!
Desde chico ha sido un destacado violinista, su paso por la orquesta Esperanza Azteca y la Orquesta Sinfónica Infantil de México lo han llevado a colaborar con grandes artistas como Yo-Yo Ma, Carlos Prieto, Samuel Zyman, Paquito D´Rivera, Valery Gergiev, Erika Dobosiewicz, entre otros. Ha recorrido el país y traspasado fronteras representando orgullosamente a Ciudad Juárez como el Concertino en diversos eventos.
Todos estos logros no hubieran sido posibles sin su enorme talento y sin el apoyo de su hermosa familia. En especial, sus papás: Gabriel Cardona y Paty Cabrera que con mucho esfuerzo siempre creyeron en el sueño de Roy y han utilizado todos sus medios para apoyarlo.
Pero la vida es impredecible y hace pocos días nos ha dado un golpe tremendo. El COVID-19 se llevó a Paty antes de tiempo, dejando un legado enorme en la vida de cientos de personas que tocó sin darse cuenta con su sencillez y su calidad humana. Basta con leer algunos de los muchos mensajes que se le han dedicado para darse cuenta que Paty amaba dos cosas: la vida y a su familia. Era una apasionada de su profesión y una madre ejemplar. Cada vez que hablaba de alguno de sus tres hijos se le iluminaban sus ojos de orgullo y faltaban las palabras para describir su amor hacia ellos. Sin duda Paty era esa mamá que no se perdió ni un solo recital y que junto con Gabo movieron cielo, mar y tierra para que Roy siempre fuera tras su sueño.
Estamos seguros de que desde ese lugar mejor, Paty desea que Roy se convierta en el músico profesional que está destinado a ser. Es por eso que queremos apoyar a la familia Cardona Cabrera con los gastos del primer año de estudios de Roy en la Texas Tech School of Music en Lubbock, Texas, escuela en la cual se ganó una prestigiosa beca por ser un excelente violinista, sin embargo ésta no cubre todos los gastos, el restante asciende a 20K dólares.
Queremos apoyar a cumplir el sueño de Gabo, Paty, Roy y sus hermanos. Roy inicia el póximo año su primer año en Texas Tech, por lo que la meta queremos cumplirla a finalizar julio.
Roy es un muchacho que refleja la esencia de Paty: pasión y humildad, con su música llevará el legado de su mamá en cada escenario, en cada nota.
