<div>She’s a 6-year-old red heeler with a heart as big as her energy. As most people in Ocala, FL know us, riding on our bike and tiki hut cart contraption. We also adorn Grinch and Max attire during Christmas!

<div>It gives ME so much joy seeing the joy it brings to passing traffic or bystanders as we ride around, Roxy perched out front in her tiki hut! Constantly being stopped for pictures and donations... which all go to our ministry Get Fit In The Garden.

<div> As we stop at the downtown square or Downtown Market to throw her ball, kids will line up waiting their turn to throw! That in itself is a joy!

<div>About a year and a half ago, Roxy suffered a partial CCL (in humans, ACL) tear in her left leg from jumping 6-7' to get her ball or frisbee, I presume. We’ve tried everything possible—PRP treatments, supplements, rest, and pain management—but she still struggles with pain and limping. At times, she can barely put her paw down. So, there are no ball or frisbee throws anymore.

<div>The next step is surgery, which offers her the best chance at living the active, joyful life she deserves. Unfortunately, the procedure is costly and more than I can handle on my own.

<div>Roxy has been more than just a pet—she’s been my rock. For 11 years, I battled a severe GI condition that left me vomiting nearly 30 times a day, destroyed my esophagus, and eventually cost me all my teeth. I reached a place where life felt impossible. On May 7, 2024, by the grace of God, I was healed. Through those dark years, Roxy never left my side. She gave me comfort, unconditional love, and the will to keep going.
