Roxy is Stacey’s beloved Maltese dog and has always been a sweet, loving companion and a source of joy. Recently, while Stacey was out of town for a few days, Roxy was being cared for by a neighbor when she suffered a terrible injury. She got a 1 cm cut on her right eye, which quickly became infected. Her eye eventually ruptured, causing immense pain and distress for both Roxy and Stacey.

 After rushing Roxy to the vet upon her return, it was determined that her right eye and part of her cheek needed to be removed to stop the infection from spreading further. As if that wasn’t enough, Roxy now has a protruding rib on the same side, which causes her pain but unfortunately cannot be fixed according to the vet. This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for Stacey, who loves Roxy dearly and wants nothing more than to see her comfortable and happy again.

 The funds raised will go directly toward covering the cost of Roxy’s surgery, medications, and all necessary follow-up care.
