Help Rossie return to our lives!
A heartbreaking tragedy struck our dear friend Rossie: an incredibly kind and caring human being, a loving wife, and a devoted mother of two young beautiful kids.
Just before Thanksgiving, she and her family traveled to Belgium to say a final goodbye to their brother-in-law in his last fight with multiple sclerosis, and to be with his grieving family. While walking on the street in the center of Antwerp, scaffolding collapsed on them. Rossie managed to push her kids to safety before the heavy construction came crashing down on her. She suffered severe head and spine injuries and is still in a coma, fighting for her life. Here is a link
to one of the images from the scene.
Her husband Petar Petrov and her children Kristine and Marc are staying by her bedside in Belgium, putting their lives on hold. They are stuck in unpredictable and unfamiliar surroundings in the hospital room, away from the warmth of home and friends. This loving family has, and deserves, this one holiday wish: to see Rossie’s contagious smile back on her face.
The family needs urgent help to pay for the unpredicatble medical expenses, and to support their necessary extended stay in Belgium. We ask for your kind generosity in this dire time of need.
All of us who love Rossie know how strong she is and we believe, against all odds, that she will be able to fully recover and bring back her radiant and joyful personality to our lives. Our hearts and thoughts are with Rossie and her family during this incomprehensibly difficult time.
Thank you all for your compassion and support!
