My name is Christinia Eala, the founder and director of development with Tiyospaye Winyan Maka ~ Extended Family of Women of the Earth, a registered 501c3 organization based in Fort Collins, CO. We are hosting our annual winter warmth fundraiser for the Rosebud Reservation in South Central South Dakota.

This initiative is called the "Winter Warmth Project", which seeks to raise enough money to help families get the propane, electricity, or wood resources that they need to heat their homes throughout the long winter. This year's concert will be held near the "Twin Cottonwoods" out at the former Hughes Stadium Site on October 13th, 2024, from 1PM to 8PM.

In 2022, we managed to raise about $18,000 in cash and material donations that included some much needed supplies. We currently have several bands that have confirmed they will play. We are expecting to have a some tipis set up, a few food vendors, cultural demonstrations, and a traditional storytelling.

PLEASE dig deep and support us in our efforts to protect the elders and children from the blizzards and heavy snows that will be starting soon.
