Help Roscoe the kitten
Donation protected
These two little kittens (and their brother) were born to a feral mother on the mean streets of Brooklyn. They were quite sickly--full of fleas, worms, and suffering from eye infections. We managed to capture them and take them to the vet, and I am now fostering all three and nursing them back to health.
Although they are now doing much better, Roscoe, the orange kitten, will need to have one eye removed--it is too badly damaged. Happily, cats can get along very well with partial vision, and we plan to adopt at least two of them together, so Roscoe will always have his sibling for comfort and guidance.
(The mama has been spayed so she will not have any more litters, and we are working on catching two others living in the same block.)
Roscoe's surgery will cost a little more than $1000, so we are hoping to find some kind souls who are willing to pitch in to help.
