Ronnie Moushey is a sweet and loving person by everyone who knows him has been going through rough times recently and has been faced with the toughest battle of his life. He lost his job that he had for many years, lost his medical insurance, and started to notice he was becoming very ill. On August 29, 2018 Ronnie's life was turned upside down. He was Diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer that has went from his esophagus to his kidneys, liver, and spine and unfortunately it is still actively spreading. The Doctors will start Chemo, radiation, and medication and we are all hoping he can beat this cancer and have many more years a head of him. He is 6'2" and has gone from 220 lbs to 140lbs in just short time due to the cancer. He currently has a feeding tube and thankfully has gained 14 pounds since it was put in which is what the doctors need him to do so that they can start Chemo. He currently has chemo port to start his chemotherapy after he gains more weight and gets more strength. In a matter of just a few weeks he has gone from not being able to eat to currently on specialty foods that he can eat through his feeding tube that is costing him around $300 a month. That's only the beginning of what it's going to cost him and his wife Paula to get through this battle. They have to pay for Doctor Visits, Medication, Food that he can eat, pay their mortgage, utilities, and other things needed for daily living . Paula his loving wife of many years is having to take time off from work to help care for Ronnie while he gets better. They will be faced with more rough times and this is where we are asking for everyone's help. Us; his family is asking for all the help we can get to take stress off Ronnie and Paula as they are facing Financial Burdens and need to focus on getting Ronnie better and cancer free. If anyone who has someone who's had cancer or even had it themselves knows how much of a toll this can take on everyone involved. Anything helps and even if you cant donate sharing his GoFundMe will help in more ways than not sharing at all. We appreciate everyone's help during this time. All funds donated will go directly to Ronnie and Paula! God Bless you all!!
