Whether you know him as Ronald, Ronnie or Roho... he made sure everyone around him was happy and having a good time! Here is his story...
Ronnie (Roho) Baker is 55 and has been recently diagnosed by Mayo Clinic with an unclassified antibody that is attacking his brain. He has been fighting this for over 2 months without a confirmed diagnosis. This page is to help with some immediate expenses such as travel. Mayo Clinic and Boone Hospital are working on transferring him to Minnesota to begin treatment. He is receiving care at Boone Hospital ICU and will be transported to ICU at Mayo Clinic, which is estimated to be around $10,000. Unfortunately, there is no where for Tess or family to stay in the room with him. We want to ease the burden of travel and lodging for them.
This is extremely rare and fatal if not treated. It's heartbreaking to see someone so full of life who has given so much to all those that was around him to be in such a state as he is currently in.
