<div><strong>Help Ron Find a Safe Home and a Fresh Start</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, I’m Jamaica Miller, and I’m asking for your help for my dear friend Ron Glaser. Ron is totally blind—like me—and recently lost his home after the kind guardian he lived with suffered a stroke. He’s now facing homelessness and urgently needs support to get back on his feet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ron is 49 and has only had two places to call home in his life. After his mother passed, he was taken in by the mother of a close friend. He lived with her for years until her stroke left him displaced once again. He’s now navigating this crisis with no stable housing as of next week and nearly $15,000 in debt from the upheaval.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>We’re raising funds to help Ron:</strong>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Pay off urgent debts
</li>
<li>Cover temporary living and storage costs
</li>
<li>Secure a permanent home (first/last month’s rent + deposit)
</li>
<li>Pay for moving expenses
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ron receives a small survivor’s benefit and hopes to return to tech support work once he’s settled. But right now, he needs a lifeline.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ve known Ron for over 20 years—we met through a phone-based program for blind folks called eVoice. He’s been a generous friend and a tech wizard, helping me countless times with computer issues. He’s kind, smart, and deserves stability.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anything you can give will help Ron reclaim his independence and dignity. My friend Jennifer Bray is helping manage the funds to ensure every dollar goes directly to Ron’s needs.

</div>
<div><strong>Thank you for reading—and for caring.</strong>

</div>
<div><em>There are five more photos at the bottom of the post. The first is of Jamaica and Ron sitting at a table during the Welcome Party at the ACB convention. They are smiling and clapping along to some music that they are enjoying. </em>

<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>The second picture is of Ron and Jamaica sitting in the Bistro at the hotel, waiting for their food order. </em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>The third one is of Jamaica sitting in her wheelchair (she had a sprained ankle during the conference), and Ron kneeling beside her with his arm around her shoulder. Both have big smiles on their faces! </em>

<div><em>The fourth picture is another one of Ron and Jamaica in front of the hotel, standing up tall with big smiles and Ron’s arm around Jamaica’s shoulder. </em>

<div><em>The last one is of Jamaica and Ron sharing a hug at the end of the Banquet, the last night of the conference. Ron is smiling and squeezing Jamiaca tightly and Jamaica is feeling Ron’s hair! </em>
