HELP RON & CAROL REBUILD THEIR LIVES AFTER FIRE

Our parents Ron & Carol Wilczak lost everything after their house completely burned down on the morning of December 2, 2022. They barely made it out of the house alive, and were left with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

They lost everything in the fire. Every single possession is gone. Birth certificates, driver’s licenses, car keys, & irreplaceable sentimental family & military items - all of these are lost and they have to completely rebuild their lives. They do have homeowner’s insurance and while they did get some funds from it, they are still faced with a serious shortage. With rising costs and record high inflation, they are still short when it comes to the cost to rebuild their home. They are at least $100,000 short and that is why we are asking the community for help.

The funds would be used to rebuild their home and replace basic living necessities that aren’t covered by the funds paid out through insurance; such as a washer and dryer.

Our parents always believed in helping family, friends, neighbors, & community however they could. They are elderly, live on a fixed income and we are so lucky that they are still here with us. Aside from losing everything, they are still recovering from the trauma of being in that house fire. Mom still has second degree burns on parts of her body and dad is still processing the loss. Our brother and his wife, whom were also in the house during the fire are also in recovery as they continue to deal with the trauma of the event. Our family is trying to hold it together while dealing with such a devastating loss.
