Help Romeo Recover a Near Fatal 5 Dog Attack
Last night our sweet baby Romeo was walking on the sidewalk with my parents on leash, when he was attacked by 5 large off leash dogs. The owner watched and let it happen, as my parents screamed and cried for help. He walked away carelessly, and flipped off my parents, saying “the dogs are just playing dude”, leaving Romeo bleeding and with several injuries. An off duty cop witnessed the incident, and we are working with the police and city to identify and hold this man accountable. In the original post on Facebook (linked below) you can hear my mom screaming and crying for help while the man flips off my dad. He even tried taking my dads phone from him.
Romeo, our 10 year old pomeranian, was in surgery overnight for 2 hours, with 3 deep wounds and stitches internally and externally . Hes currently unable to walk and on pain meds, and we hope he recovers physically and emotionally from this. Going for walks was his favourite thing to do and we hope that doesnt change for him.
Any help for my parents to pay the vet bills would be so appreciated. ❤️ The man just walked off and took 0 responsibility for his and his dogs actions.
