Help Rogue Rowing Thrive!

Want to join me in making a difference? We're raising money to benefit Rogue Rowing, by providing the ability to purchase equipment that supports our athletes in their competitive endeavors along the West Coast and nationally. Any donation will help make an impact and is tax-deductible.

We are a community-based organization that inspires and supports a passion for the sport of rowing. We develop competitive and recreational rowers at all levels & ages, embracing fun, teamwork, trust and mutual respect. We are athletes, from teenagers to octogenarians, who are passionate about rowing. We are located in Southern Oregon nestled in the Rogue Valley in Ashland.

Our club began life in 1998, as an Ashland High School girl’s senior project. Working with our local Olympic hero, Steve Kiesling, 18 enthusiastic girls started the high school rowing team. In 2000, the adult program was started. Adults from all walks of life, particularly pre-title nine women, found competitive opportunities through rowing. Disabled veterans are the focus of our adaptive program. Our athletes learn the community of a team sport and the benefits of competition. Over the years, our youth and adult teams have competed successfully nationally and internationally.

We depend on fundraising for equipment purchases to improve the training, competition and safety of our athletes. To reach as many future athletes as possible and keep the cost of rowing to a minimum, our fees only cover each program’s operational costs.
