Our brother, Rodrigo Contreras, was recently diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) — a rare autoimmune disorder that’s left him temporarily paralyzed and in need of intensive care and therapy. Rodrigo is currently hospitalized in Zacatecas, Mexico.

<div>The cost of treatment, medication, and rehabilitation is overwhelming — especially because everything happened so suddenly, and his symptoms are getting worse by the minute. His family is doing what they can, but they need help to keep up with the growing medical expenses, especially as private treatment is paid out of pocket.
