<div>“My name is Rodney Taylor, and I am reaching out for support after being recently released from ICE detention. This experience has been incredibly difficult, and I am working hard to rebuild my life and provide for my family during this transition. The challenges of starting over is overwhelming, but I am determined to move forward and create a stable future for myself and my loved ones.

<div>Right now, I am in urgent need of assistance with basic necessities like housing and food. In addition, I am hoping to get a car and secure a new location for my barbershop, which will help me regain independence and support my family long-term. Your support will help me keep a roof over our heads, put food on the table, and get back to work so I can provide for those I love. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in our lives and help us regain stability and hope.”-Rodney Taylor

<div>After more than a year of unjust detention, medical neglect, and separation from his loved ones, Rodney is finally home—but the road to recovery will require real, sustained support. As a formerly self-sufficient barber-business owner-and provider, Rodney now faces significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges, including ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and the basic costs of rebuilding his life. His family has carried the burden of advocacy, travel, and survival throughout this fight, and they need community now more than ever. This fundraiser will help ensure Rodney has access to proper medical treatment, stable housing, mobility support, and reliable transportation—including a larger vehicle to safely accommodate his growing family and ensure consistent access to critical medical appointments and services.

<div>Supporting Rodney means investing in his healing, restoring his independence, and standing with a family that refused to give up in the face of injustice.

<div>Thank you so very much! We can’t do this without YOU ALL!

<div>The first picture with the Christmas tree was taken today (May 3, 2026). My wife wanted me to experience Christmas and coming home is indeed the Christmas wish I’ve been praying for!-Rodney
