<div>My friend’s son, Roderick, was recently added to the National Kidney Donor List. Roderick is a vibrant 17-year-old who has faced the challenges of end-stage renal disease since birth with courage and resilience. Born with underdeveloped kidneys, he has endured a lifetime of medical treatments, but now he urgently needs a life-saving kidney transplant. Roderick is more than his diagnosis—he’s a bright, kind-hearted teen with a love for life. His favorite color, yellow, perfectly reflects his spirit of hope and positivity, even during the toughest times. Despite the hurdles, he dreams of a future where he can attend college, play sports, and simply enjoy life like any other teenager. While we are optimistic about finding a donor match, the financial burden of this journey is overwhelming.
