Help Robyn & Ian

As you may or may not know, our daughter in law Robyn, has been living with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) A condition that  effects the function of her lungs. While there is no cure, it can me controlled by modern medicine and prescription drugs.
Unfortunately , over time these prescriptions have started to have less and less effect on Robyn, (not totally uncommon) to the point now where they are not working at all.
The result of this, is that Robyn has now been put on a double lung transplant list as a priority case!

She has been flown from her home town hospital in Winnipeg Manitoba to a specialized hospital in Edmonton Alberta, some 1300km (800 miles) away, where she may have to wait, a week, a month, 9 months, till a suitable donor can be found.
Of course Ian and their 9 month old son Finn have gone out to be with her.
We all know this a stressful and worrisome time for everyone, but there is also the added financial stress of not only being in another province, but the bills at home are still coming in.
Mortgages, hydro, electric, car, insurance etc. Ian has taken a leave of absents from work , Robyn on a maternity leave, putting the family on very limited money coming in.
To help Ian be at the hospital with Robyn, it would be most beneficial for young Finn to start daycare. Ian has reached out to the Alberta government to help with Finn's daycare cost while he's at the hospital . He was denied because he's not a resident of Alberta. His home province has denied him help because the daycare is in another province. Just one example of what he's facing.
So we started this Go Fund Me page and come Hat in Hand to ask for your help.
Every little bit helps (many hands make light work)
We ask only 3 things:
1) please contribute what you can, no amount is too small.
2) post & share this with others. Spread the word as there are others who know Ian and Robyn that we do not have contact with.
3) please sign your organ donor card. Not for Robyn, but for the next "Robyn" who needs all our help.
