<div>Right now, Robert is at North Shore University Hospital, fighting for his life after suffering a major setback. Three weeks ago, he had a stroke, which caused him to lose use of his left side and be removed from the transplant list. As you can imagine, this was a major blow to Rob — he lost a lot of hope and his resolve is being tested.

<div>Doctors told us he needed to be event-free for two weeks before they could do a CT scan to see if he had healed enough to be re-listed. Robert never gave up — he worked every day to regain movement and strength. But just one day before his re-evaluation, he suffered a brain bleed.

<div>He lost movement in all his limbs, had trouble speaking and seeing, and is now confined to the hospital — still fighting every single day to stay strong through this unimaginable challenge.

<div>Some days, he barely has the strength to get up, and he’s beginning to lose strength and hope. But even on the hardest days, he keeps trying.
