<div>In 2023 Robert suffered a spontaneous brain bleed that led to several strokes. He spent weeks at Baptist hospital in Winston before being moved to a rehab facility and eventually coming home. He has endured multiple follow up surgeries and infections in his brain since. Most recently he had the metal plate that is covering the portion of his missing skull replaced due to infection. Staples were removed this past week and as of this morning (11/18) he is headed back to Baptist with pain, swelling, and a fever over 102⁰. We and the neuro team assume this is another infection and anticipate further surgery.

<div>Robert works at Lowes home improvement center and Sara works as a public school teacher, but because of his illness Robert is currently unable to work. Sara works full-time but has run out of days she can take off taking him to surgeries. She will be missing work again this week to be there as they do another brain surgery. We would like to help lessen the financial burden of missed work so they can focus on getting Robert better and taking care of their daughters.
