Rob is not just my coworker, but also a close friend who has always been there for others. Recently, his beloved dog Harley became very ill—he stopped eating and was drinking excessive amounts of water. Concerned, Rob took Harley to the vet, where after several days of observation and testing, Harley was diagnosed with kidney disease. The news was a shock, but Rob was relieved to learn that with the right care, Harley could pull through.

 Unfortunately, this diagnosis came at a time when Rob is already facing serious challenges. He has his own health issues that require expensive medications, and he is the primary caregiver for his mother, who is battling dementia. The cost of Harley’s emergency care, tests, and ongoing need for special food has left Rob with a massive bill, and he’s struggling to see how he can manage it all.
