River has been a cherished member of our family for eight years, ever since we adopted him from a shelter when he was just 10 months old. From the very beginning, he has brought so much love and joy into our lives. River is the sweetest dog—gentle, affectionate, and always ready to greet everyone with a wagging tail. He means the world to me and my three kids, and he’s been a constant source of comfort and happiness, especially for me as a Marine Corps veteran.

Recently, we discovered a tumor growing on River’s side. After taking him to the vet, we learned that he needs surgery to remove it as soon as possible. The cost of the procedure is more than I can afford right now. I’m deeply worried about waiting too long and risking his health getting worse, but I want to do everything I can to help him heal and stay with our family for many more years.
