Rima Khedesian, Our Angel

Mother of 3, diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer 1 1/2 years ago. Imagine going to your primary care physician for a lump in your left breast to only be refused for 6 months to have it examined.  Instead, mammograms are ordered on the right breast.  After 6 months of complaining that the wrong breast is being examined, Rima finally gets recommended to an oncologist who confirms her worst fears.  Subsequent testing confirms that Rima not only has breast cancer but has a very rare form of it...Triple Negative Breast Cancer...and she has been battling it ever since.  The battle has taken its toll on Rima and her family but they bravely battle on.  Rima has had 3 courses of chemo and 1 course of radiation, and multiple surgeries behind her and is currently struggling through her 4th battle of chemo sessions.   She is a fighter and although she cannot drive, has grown weak, and spends much of her time in severe pain, we all are praying that remission is in her near future!  Please pray for this family and families going through similar or worse experiences.   We pray that Rima finds a way to manage her pain so that she can regain normal life that we take for granted, for her remission, and we pray for her family who have been working endlessly to maintain as much as possible a normal life and caring for Rima.   This family has always given back to the community with her husband, Hratch volunteering as Soccer Coach or Assistant Coach at AYSO and always involved in school and community fundraisers.   Prior to her illness, Rima was a PreSchool teacher at Rolling Hills United Methodist Church.  Please help me let this family know that they are not alone and that we are here to help. Funds are being raised to help the family pay for medical bills and care and possibly take advantage of clinical trials depending on amounts raised.  Any amount and/or words of encouragement are greatly appreciated.
