Hi, we’re Paul and Nicole Ferrata, and this is our sweet 5-month-old Labrador puppy, Riley. Riley came into our lives just a few short months ago, and from the very first day, he’s filled our home with love, laughter, and the kind of joy only a puppy can bring. He’s our fluffy sweet companion who greets every new day with a wagging tail and a heart full of excitement.

Riley is not just a pet to us; he’s family. Watching him grow, explore, and play has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. But recently, our hearts were shattered when we learned that Riley was born with severe hip dysplasia, a condition that will soon prevent him from running, playing, or even walking without significant pain.

Our vet has recommended that Riley undergo a hip replacement on his right side as soon as possible, with the possibility of another surgery for his left hip later on. Without this surgery, his quality of life will be greatly diminished, and the thought of him not being able to enjoy his puppy years as he should breaks our hearts.

The cost of the surgery is overwhelming, and as much as we want to provide Riley with the care he needs, we are reaching out to our friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers to help us give Riley a chance at a happy, pain-free life.
