Hi, I’m Riley, and I’m 12 years old. Scouting has been a big part of my life for years since I joined as a Cub, and I’ve learned new skills, earned badges, made great friends, and grown in confidence by taking on challenges and trying things that push me.
I’m really excited to say I’ve been offered a place on Project 27, Hampshire’s international Scouts expedition programme. It’s a huge opportunity to build independence, develop new skills, and be part of an adventure I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
To take part, I need to raise around £3,900 to help cover the costs involved, like travel, programme fees, training and preparation activities, and essential kit linked to the expedition.
I want to earn my place, so I’m taking on a sponsored swim challenge: 22 miles (that's about 1408 lengths) in by March, and I’ll post regular updates so you can see how I’m getting on.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean a lot and genuinely help me get closer to my goal.
Thank you so much for your support,
Riley
