Help Rilee and Theo Recover After Attack

Around 11:30 PM, July 15, 2021, my amazing sister Rilee Shipley was viciously beaten in what we believe may have been an attack motivated by transphobic hate, at the dog park at her apartment complex in Casper, WY. She was kicked in the head numerous times and left bleeding in the dark by her attackers while she tried to find her glasses and get herself and her dog back inside so her spouse, Theo, could call an ambulance to transport her for medical care. The Wyoming Medical Center determined there were fractures to Rilee's orbital bone, lower sinus and cheekbone, and stapled a head wound caused by her attacker's booted kicks. A police report has been filed and victim's advocacy services have been contacted.
