<div>Richelle was 1st diagnosed in the fall of 2020 with cervical cancer  stage 1b. Richelle underwent a radical hysterectomy and then 5 weeks of full pelvic external radiation. She had a clean bill of health for 2 years and then this time, last year was diagnosed with a recurrence.  Last summer, Richelle underwent 3 weeks of external radiation with once a week chemo and then 3 days of internal brachytherapy, which consisted of laying flat on her back for 3 days straight and internal radiation 2 times a day.  The treatment seemed to do well at first and her tumor had shrank, however her scans in January came back with an increase in size and active cancer cells.  Richelle is now considered terminal and looking at chemo for the next 6 months and immunotherapy for the next 2 years.

<div>Richelle is a beautifully kind person, with young children. Richelle is always putting the people in her life first. It's Richelle's turn to come first.

<div>During Richelle's chemo treatments, she has become debilitated to not be able to continue working while suffering through these harsh treatments. She will need some financial support until she's able to return to work.
