Help Rhea, Our Brave Great Dane

Hello! My name is Kendra, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart for our beloved Great Dane, Rhea. She is not just a pet; she’s a cherished member of our family and a true princess in every sense of the word.

At the beginning of August, Rhea developed a limp after an adventurous day at the lake. Initially, we thought it was nothing serious, but after a few weeks of rest and treatment, her condition worsened. We discovered she has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer that requires immediate attention.

Rhea is scheduled for an amputation tomorrow to help her fight this battle. While we are hopeful and determined to give her the best care possible, the costs associated with her surgery, post-operative care, and potential follow-up treatments like chemotherapy are significant. As a Great Dane, Rhea has a gentle and loving spirit that has brought so much joy to our lives. She has been there for us through thick and thin, always ready with a wagging tail. Now, we want to be there for her in her time of need.
