Help Reynolds Recover

Donation protected
On December 17th, 2018 at about 1:30 a.m Brian Reynolds had just gotten off his Sunday night shift working security at a night club on 7th Avenue in Chelsea.

The three men responsible for the assault left him with both jaws broken. One of the assailants hurled a racial slur at Brian before throwing a metal garbage can at his face.

Brian and I always talk to each other when we leave work to make sure we reach our destination safely.  December 17th will always be a night we will never forget because of this horrific incident.

Brian has gone through the reconstructive surgery of both broken jaws, and somehow is finding the strength to keep his head up through the pain.

He has a long journey ahead of him for his recovery.  I am constantly encouraging his efforts on looking at the 'brighter side' of things. One of his favorite sayings are, "Small setback, bigger come back", and I am confident that he will come out of this a stronger individual.

Unfortunately, hate crimes are becoming more frequent in today's society. Due to the severity of his injury it is also unknown at this time when he will be able to speak or return to work.

We are kindly asking for any donations towards Brian's basic living expenses/therapy. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
