Our 7-month-old puppy, Reyna, has been facing a series of serious health challenges. What started as a suspected slipped disc quickly turned into a complicated search for answers, involving three different veterinarians and a neurologist. Reyna’s symptoms have been difficult to diagnose, and we are currently waiting on test results to determine the best course of action. Two of the possible diagnoses are not curable, and we are preparing for every outcome, including the heartbreaking possibility of saying goodbye if treatment isn’t possible.

My wife, children, and I have been doing everything we can to help Reyna. We’ve traveled to different cities, stayed in hotels, and spent countless hours and resources trying to get her the care she needs. Along the way, we’ve faced misdiagnoses and incorrect medications, which has only added to the emotional and financial strain. Despite these setbacks, we remain hopeful that the upcoming test results will give us a clear path forward and a chance to start treatment.
