Help Revive Young Women In Liberia, West Africa!

KINDLY HELP US  FUND THE COST OF OUR CURRICULUM AND TRAINING!!

67 percent of adolescent girls with no education are either pregnant or at least have their first child to care for in Liberia. Teenage pregnancy is one of the greatest barriers to young women's peace and development. A Pregnant teenager is highly likely to drop out of school, and face neglect from her parents and spouse, leaving her alone to fend for herself and the unborn child. Exacerbated by poverty, girls never get the chance to return to school. This harsh reality is oftentimes passed unto children, further creating a cycle that is extremely difficult to recover from. Realizing that this problem is due largely to the lack of sexual reproductive awareness amongst girls, we want to break the cycle.

Our project seeks to create a knowledge-based system that empowers young women with education about their sexual reproductive health whilst creating a safe space that enhances their growth and development. We intend to address issues such as sex education, teenage pregnancy prevention, Sexually transmitted diseases (HIV and AIDs), Menstrual education, Hygiene and sanitation, Cervical cancer, etc. To successfully achieve this, we aspire to develop a curriculum on such topics and run training workshops for 50 young women from rural townships and schools in Liberia.
Developing our curriculum needs your generous donation. The cost for a package is $2,500. Help revive young women in Liberia. Let’s break the cycle of teenage pregnancy and teen poverty together.
