Revive Theatre Arts & Help Rape Victims

Donation protected
My name is Patrick Adu, and I am the first Maligie Scholar from Sierra Leone, West Africa. Today I am asking for your help so that I can use what I have learned in the US to help children, young adults and communities in Sierra Leone. After our eleven (11) years civil war, Theatre Art still remains dead and forgotten. The performing Arts is yet to return to schools and communities. As a result, the tradition is in danger of being forgotten to history.
With your help, I want to go and revive Theatre Art and Art Education in Sierra Leone.

My goal is to rebuild Theatre culture and practice through performances and educational programs that provide a vital voice to our people. I plan on not only teaching Theatre, but also starting Theatre arts education programs for schools. With your help, we can save and preserve a Theatre culture in danger, develop the skills of young people that can be used to effect social change.
We are working in collaboration with Auradicals Foundation, British Council and Rainbow Initiative to dedicate our December 14th performance to Rape victims. 50% of all donations and ticket sales will be go to rape victims in Sierra Leone.
Thank you so much for anything you are able to contribute; every little bit helps.
