JUSTICE for the Goble-Boxx Family

On October 2, Sarah and Brian brought their three-month-old baby to the ER after he inexplicably coughed up blood in the middle of the night. They had no idea that just a few days later, this already-scary situation would turn into their family's worst nightmare.

After a series of X-rays at the hospital, Sarah and Brian were shocked to learn that, despite appearing completely healthy and happy up until the previous night, their son had "multiple unexplained bone fractures" in addition to a lesion in his throat that had caused him to cough up blood. As if the devastation of learning your child was hurt to this extent wasn't enough, Sarah and Brian were quickly brought under suspicion. They desperately wanted to know what had caused these injuries, but instead, they were restricted from seeing their child and were treated like criminals.

The collateral damage of the "investigation" done by the hospital and DCF has caused irreparable harm and trauma to this family. Sarah Goble, Brian Boxx, their baby and Sarah's nine-year-old daughter have been separated. Sarah and Brian are being accused of child abuse by the state of Kansas and are facing the possibility of jail time. They are grappling with the potential of never being reunited with the children.

As any parent would, Sarah and Brian are fighting non-stop through the legal system to prove their innocence and get their children back. The unfortunate reality of this is a quickly growing list of fees for lawyers, medical tests, and specialists. Any assistance they can receive toward these costs helps immensely.
