<div>Close your eyes and imagine what two kids have seen during seven months of genocide in Gaza. While they should be going to kindergarten, playing, and learning how kind the world should be, but the reality was far different.

<div>My name is <strong>Hind</strong>, and I am a mother of two beautiful kids, four-year old <strong>Zeina</strong> and two-year old <strong>Ahmed</strong>. Due to the ongoing genocide in Gaza, we have been forced to flee our home and seek refuge in Egypt. Tragically, my husband had to stay behind in Gaza, and our family has been torn apart. We are reaching out to you for help in reuniting our family and rebuilding our lives again.

<div>Our life in Gaza was filled with love and hope in our newly built home, but the genocide has shattered our world, destroyed our home and turning it into rubble. We were forced to make the heart-wrenching decision to leave our home. we have been displaced many times, and now my children and I find ourselves in Egypt, separated from their father. The uncertainty and fear we face every day are overwhelming, but we determined to stay strong for the sake of our family.

<div>On the seventh day of the war, we were forced to leave our home, our memories, and our dreams. We were displaced to Al-Shifa Hospital, where I and my husband Dr. Islam work. He is a plastic surgeon who worked non-stop for 40 days, treating the wounded and injured people from the Israeli massacres. I am a physical therapist in the ICU, I used to work with patients and take care of my kids at the same time. I couldn't bear to see the fear in my children's eyes when they hear the sound of a nearby bombing.

<div>We forced to leave Al-Shifa hospital on November 10th after the Israeli army invade it and bombed the building we were sheltering in. Once again, we left everything behind and displaced to the south of Wadi Gaza as the Israeli army ordered. After five hours of walking with fear, rapid heartbeats, and confused eyes seeing the unknown, we arrived at UNRWA school in Khan Yunis. We stayed in for a month before being informed to evacuate again and displaced towards a safer place in Rafah to save our lives. For about four months, we stayed in a tent that lacks even the most basic living conditions (clean water, electricity, and food). Due to these conditions we developed hepatitis A, we suffered for a long time before recovering.

<div>After an alarming news about the Israeli plan to invade Rafah, We forced to escape to Egypt using all our savings as fees to exit Gaza through Rafah crossing border. The cost was 10,000$ for me and my children. My husband Islam refused to leave with us and abandoned his sense of duty and humanity to deal with injured people.

<div>Every night before the bedtime, Zeina asked me, if our house have still standing and her new pink room remains or the Israelis destroyed it? Unfortunately, we lately received bad news that our home was completely destroyed. Now we have nothing left, our hope of returning to our home or finding it was vanished.
