<div>On January 12, 2026, Miguel-a longtime Pasadena resident and hardworking day laborer-was doing what he has done countless mornings before: standing on a corner with other jornaleros, hoping for an honest day’s work to provide for his family. As he prepared to begin his workday, multiple ICE agents arrived without warning and detained him, along with three other workers, simply for seeking employment.

<div>Miguel is a devoted husband and a loving father. He is the sole provider for his household, and his detention has left his family suddenly without income, stability, or a safety net. As Miguel now faces a long and difficult legal battle for his freedom, his loved ones are left navigating uncertainty and hardship alone.

<div>We are asking for your compassion and support to help cover Miguel’s legal expenses and his family’s basic needs during this incredibly painful time. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a step toward reuniting Miguel with his family and restoring the stability they depend on.

<div>Please give what you can today and help bring Miguel home to the people who love and need him.
