Re-unite Evelyne with Daddy

First I'd like to say "thank you " for visiting my page. I am a Uganda gay activist who sought asylum in 2014, now living in Massachusetts, USA. I am a student at Bunker Hill Community College and work for an agency advocating against domestic violence against women, children and LGBTIQ persons. When I left Uganda I believed that I would return home after 2 weeks. I didn’t say goodbye , including and most especially my daughter, who was at school at the time, thinking that I would be home soon, but I have never been able to return. It has been 3 years since I last saw my daughter. Today, I have hope of seeing her again and for us to be reunited through my continued efforts combined with your love and support. Much of what I have achieved so far is because of those of you who continue to believe in me and the work I do. Words can’t express how grateful I am to those who have stood with me and supported me emotionally, financially, spiritually and mentally. To remain safe, I decided to stay in the USA and start all over again in a place I call home today. My patience and hope was strengthened by your support and love for me. I have spent a lot of time working, more for others and have often paid less attention to my own needs. I was never able to spend much time with my daughter, because I was protecting her from being a passive victim of discrimination against my sexual orientation. No support was too little, whether a prayer or even just a message, asking how I or my daughter was doing; it all meant and means a lot to us. A year ago I petitioned for her to join me and she has finally been approved to come to the USA. None of this would have been possible without you, my dear friends. And now I am asking for your support again. Your generous contribution will help reunite my daughter and me; it will cover her flight (air ticket). Further, it will help us secure our own place (a 2- bedroom apartment), pay for the first and last month deposit, cover some moving and settling in costs, as we start a new life together as a family again. My goal is to get her to the USA in the next 2-3weeks in order to enroll her for fall classes. Time is short!
