<div>Sulaf, age 5, and Elias, age 1, just evacuated with their mother Asmaa into Egypt. The Rafah border closed right before their father was able to join them, and they miss him desperately.

<div>As a devoted Montessori homeschooling family, Asmaa and her husband Mohammed built a beautiful, deeply intentional homeschooling environment, filled with educational corners and toys to foster wonder, awe, and life skills. An F-16 missile destroyed their homeschooling ambitions, and though they survived, their beloved home, neighbors, schools, parks, shops, hospitals, mosques, and favorite spots were erased. They were violently forced to evacuate to Rafah. Imagine escaping from one city to another, protecting your toddlers with only your bodies, hauling the few items you could pack while mourning your family home, your most precious photos, and every anticipation for your future. Their community, careers, and ambitions dissipated into rubble.

<div>Sulaf and Elias' family is incredibly dear to me and many others. They have been catalysts in evacuating other families to safety - but they still need to evacuate Mohammed. We urgently need to get him safe! Due to the ground invasion in Rafah, he has had to evacuate to Mawasi, which is now also under attack. Each new displacement is incredibly costly, requiring transportation, a new tent, water barrel, sleeping mat, and cooking setup.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>We also must secure about 6 months of basic living expenses such as rent, electricity, food, and water. Each week I will transfer your donations directly into their family account at Bank of Palestine, so they can cover their basic living expenses in both Egypt and Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The $25,000 USD will include:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$7,000 fee to register Mohammed's evacuation with Ya Hala Consulting and Travel Agency
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$3,000 temporary evacuation to Mawasi (until border reopens)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$3,000 (500 x 6 months) rent and utilities
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$3,000 (500 x 6 months) food, water, and household hygiene
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$1,500 mattresses, bedding, and home basics
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$1,500 in clothing and children's basics
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$2,000 public transportation
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$2,000 school, uniform, and supplies
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$2,000 medical care and trauma support for Sulaf and Elias
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any amount that is significant to you is meaningful to this sweet family! If you can match our $25, that is a huge blessing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a love story. So I am boldy asking individuals to sponsor the $5k for Mohammed's evacuation, to honor whole and complete families. No beloved should be left behind. They all love him, miss him, and need him to thrive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for including them in your day. May you be protected, always.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>PS - Montessori and Waldorf families, feel free to contact me directly to sponsor their home learning environment! They will need low mattresses, toy storage, educational puzzles, toys, and learning stations for cooking, building, and creative play.
