Help Reunite Eden and Carissa

As most of you know, early February Eden’s and my life changed forever. After a 5 month court battle, the York County Judicial Center ruled in favor of Eden’s Father to take custody of Eden. That very night, I was forced to tell my sweet, six year-old baby that I wasn’t going to see her as much anymore. The next day, they took her to start her first two week absence from me.

After 6 years of living together full time, nether Eden nor I have not taken to the changes well. Eden and I have always had a close bonded relationship as many of you know. I know her through and through, and she knows me.

Eden was not removed from my home for any legal reason or on account of me being an unfit parent. On the contrary, the documents say I am a completely competent parent.

We have reasons to believe that the verdict was biased, and we are not expecting an easy trial next time around either, as we will be given the same judge, who has ties to Eden’s father’s lawyer. The judge’s bias was shown multiple times, but because of where I live, he was able to rule against me in a verdict I cannot challenge. I am making major changes in my life to eliminate this issue, and plan to come back full force and regain custody.

Eden’s wish is to move back home. Unfortunately, it is not as easy as it sounds. I plan to hire a lawyer I have already spoken to a few times who has experience with cases like mine, and experience in York County’s judicial system. I drained a lot of my finances on the first court battle, so I am reaching out.

Eden makes what she wants very clear. She has lived with her mother for her entire life, and I have fostered her creativity, shown her the importance of her uniqueness and individuality, invested in her self-confidence, challenged her mind and developed her critical thinking skills. I have raised her with a strong sense of self, shown her the importance of her intelligence, helped her through troubling times and have supported her for her entire life. While her father was, for the most part, absent after he and I separated, Eden and I have been a two woman team. She was moved into a household of 6 people where she has expressed being overwhelmed.

I cannot detail plan on winning this hearing publicaly in this form for court reasons, (I need to work more anonymously in order for my plan to succeed) however please feel free to message me or call me with any questions before you donate. I am more than happy to discuss things privately.

As stated above, all donations will go towards retaining my lawyer and other court fees needed along the way.

Thank you for reading. It would mean the world to me if we could meet our goal so I can swiftly change the ruling and bring Eden home.
