<div>Hello,This is the story of me ٫Adeem Khalil. I am a 37-year-old mother of four and a dedicated nurse currently trapped in Gaza with my children( Abdel Karim, Mohammed, Hala, and Amal) I came to Gaza to visit my family, but the ongoing conflict has left us stranded in dangerous conditions, unable to travel due to the high costs.
</div>
<div> I dedicated myself to studying and working, building a future, buying a house, and starting a family. I was living the life I had dreamed of, until a fateful October when everything changed..
</div>

</div>
<div>The war on Gaza erupted suddenly, and in an instant, my house was bombed, and my family was displaced.
</div>
<div>We sought refuge with a friend in northern Gaza, but the relentless bombing, the fear for my children, and the terror of the children forced us to flee south.
</div>
<div>Despite the lack of transportation, we paid a large sum of money to escape, risking our lives on a perilous journey.
</div>
<div>On our way south, bombs fell around us, targeting people and cars.We miraculously survived, but the truth is, there is no safe place in Gaza. When we reached the south, we joined nearly fifty relatives in a cramped house, sharing one bathroom and one room. Each day, we struggled to find food, water, and medicine, especially for my mother 66-year-old her suffers from asthma and diabetes, with no access to proper treatment.

<div>On the morning of January 10, our nightmare deepened. I woke to the screams of my family; my mother had been shot in the head by a quadcopter. We rushed her to the hospital,but she miraculously survived and needs proper food and expensive treatment.
</div>
<div>As a nurse,I work in the hospital to save the lives of patients I work tirelessly to support my family, but I only earn $200 every 80 days. This is barely not enough to cover our essential needs, let alone the medical care my mother desperately requires. We have endured heartbreaking losses, including the deaths of my uncle, cousins, and close friends. Now, we are living in a displacement camp, struggling to stay safe and healthy.
