Help Resurface our Playground

Donation protected
5 years ago Redeemer Boys' School, Dundalk, raised money to build a playground for our autism classes, known locally as "The Orchard".  This playground has been a much used and much loved resource for all classes in the school. Over the last few years, however, wear and tear plus the Irish weather has had a detrimental impact on the surface of the playground turning it into a mudbath that will render the playground impractical for use in the not too distant future.

Our aim is to raise enough funds to put in a more permanent, safe surface, similar to that of other public playgrounds.

One of the ways our school community plan on doing this is by taking part in this year's Hell and Back challenge in June. This is a gruelling 13km challenge where RBS staff and board members will team up with parents and friends of the school to run, swim, climb, crawl and jump over numerous obstacles while helping those around them at the same time. Definitely not a walk in the park!

If you are in a position to sponsor any staff members/friends of the school or to make a donation, no matter how big or small, then please do.

This playground is used every day by our Orchard and Infant pupils. Our senior classes also have weekly timeslots for the playground and it would be an absolute shame for it to be sitting unused due to a surfacing issue.

Thank you.
