Calling All Traditional Catholics!
We ask you to prayerfully consider assisting us in the restoration process of a true gem, what could rightfully be called the heart beat of this small town. Help breath life back into this historic Catholic Church and by-effect the community in which it rests, giving glory to God and a place of beauty and worship to His people!
Recently, William Price purchased a ten-thousand square foot church, formerly known as St. Charles Borromeo, located in Cheboygan, Michigan. St. Charles, built in 1907, is basilica style, with a series of octagon columns supporting a 40 ft vaulted ceiling. This church is primarily Gothic and most identifiable for it's reflection of ancient Roman architecture. When renewal enough has been made, it will again be home for the Tridentine Liturgy, the Mass in which it's admirable design was intended for. There will, with God's help and your generosity, be incense, quiet chant and the sweet thrum of ancient Latin that will indeed satiate the air of St. Charles again.
The building was in dire straits when purchased last May. As told in William's short video, it was in crisis, stating " The roof had holes big enough for a cat to jump through....". Even part of the nave floor had to be repaired from years of water erosion. Meet Bill here and listen to him speak of this vital project in his own words.

The only funds for the church's restoration have come from some kind-hearted locals and a mortgage, William (aka Bill), obtained in order to cover the purchase price and replace the failing roof. The effects of this project will touch more than just this beloved town, but all of Christendom. If you are able to assist Bill in this mission, please consider donating today!
The projects to be tackled in this church are many. We are looking to focus in on one in particular at the moment which will be to outfit the sanctuary floor ( and side altars) with marble tile, beautifying the very heart of the church. The material and labor costs for preparing and installing $42,500. Please, consider assisting Bill in the noble venture today!
About the project leader:
Bill is a 72 year old retired electrician. He has been married for 42 years to an exceptional woman and is the father to 6 children and "Papa" to 15 beautiful grandchildren with another expected in August. He is also a Marine Corps veteran and recipient of a Purple Heart from a tour in Vietnam. You can learn more about Bill by reading his concise book " Vietnam in Wonderland". He is a Traditional Catholic who has dedicated his life to the championing of the Tridentine Liturgy for the last 35 years.
