<div>I am representing <strong>Soldiers for Christ Community Church in Long Beach, CA.</strong> Earlier this week, we had a fire in the sanctuary. Praise the Lord, the building was empty at the time, and no one was hurt. <strong>The fire was contained quickly; however, the building filled completely with smoke.</strong> We are in the process of cleaning and removing the damaged items. Unfortunately, the smoke affected everything, so we will need to replace equipment, clean seats and replace covers, purchase new Bibles, tracts, and study materials. In addition, we need to have the air conditioner inspected and serviced. We are asking all who can and are so led to assist us with raising the funds to continue the work of the ministry.

<div>We share the building with our sister church, Iglesia De Dios Camino De Santidad, who has also started raising fund for the materials and equipment replacement. Both ministries have separate equipment and separate responsibility within the building. We are working together on the restoration.
