Help restore my old primary school classrooms roof

The Primary school of Colobane in Ziguinchor is one of the oldest in Casamance. It is a school of 10 classrooms of which 3 were built in the 1970's. These 3 classrooms are now in quite a rusty state although the Principal, teachers and parents Association are working relentlessly to maintain the classrooms under trying circumstances but in a spirit of dignity that defies belief. This is the school that made me. The school I attended in the 1980's, a school that occupies a special place in my heart. I visited the school this year for the first time and as you would imagine, old memories came back racing!
The school Principal took on a tour and confided to me that there is an urgent issue the school will be grateful for if we can help: there are 3 classrooms with the run down roof and broken tiles all over. The tragedy is that these old tiles have asbestos components and as such are a serious health hazard for everyone, teachers, children and neighbors. With AUD7,000 all tyles can be replaced before the next school year starting in October 2019. It will be much appreciated if you can lend a helping hand to complete this mini project. Myself and some of others who attended the school are working together to cover some of the other associated with tables and books. The roofing and tyles appear to be the most pressing issue that need addressing at this stage. I will be posting Facebook updates on progress as we go. Thank you again for your support!
