<div>For over two decades, Jeremy has been the kind of VW enthusiast who makes the community special. His journey began 25 years ago with a simple repair that sparked a lifelong passion, leading him to own more than 20 classic Volkswagens. A dedicated Broward County Parks employee for over 18 years, Jeremy has spent countless hours helping others restore their beloved VWs, building friendships that last a lifetime.

<div><strong>The Beloved Westie and a Meaningful Journey</strong>

<div>Jeremy's pride and joy was his 1981 Vanagon Westfalia – a bus he loved for 18 years and had finally fully restored. This restoration held special meaning as one of the last projects he shared with local VW legend Jerry Yaw, who passed away in 2023. To honor Jerry's memory, Jeremy and Jerry's son Matt planned a special trip to Florida Jam to reveal the restored Westie.

<div><strong>The Accident</strong>

</div>

<div>Tragedy struck on the BeeLine highway when an erratic driver, who had been driving aggressively, rammed Jeremy's Westie from behind. The violent impact sent the bus spinning and rolling into a ditch. Jeremy had to be airlifted to the nearest trauma center with severe injuries:

<div>•	Broken clavicle

</div>

<div>•	Punctured lungs

</div>

<div>•	Significant facial trauma

</div>

<div>After five days in ICU, nurses called his survival miraculous.

<div><strong>The Need</strong>

</div>

<div>The driver who caused the accident was uninsured and hadn't held a license in ten years. Jeremy's occasionally-driven Westie had minimal insurance coverage. He now faces:

<div>•	Emergency airlift costs

</div>

<div>•	Towing and impound fees

</div>

<div>•	Potential restoration costs for the Westie
